Smart watches are becoming quite useful. They can monitor your heart rate, count your steps. Pair it with your phone and it can give you directions, tell you who’s calling and oh yeah, tell you what time it is.
While the Asus Zen Watch can’t do all of those things, it does still find a niche for those looking for some of the utility without paying an arm and a leg for all the bells and whistles. The Zen watch works well to show you emails, texts, your call log and who’s calling. You can answer and mute calls but will still need your phone to talk and listen so keep that nearby.
With the built in wifi you can extend connectivity with your phone for when your wandering around the office or puttering around the house. You can even unlock your phone via the watch and use it to remote control your phones camera. The built in pedometer and fitness app with goal coaching probably won’t change many lives but is fun to play around with and keep track of.
A whooping 96% of amazon reviewers gave the watch 3 or more stars with 59% rating it 5 stars. The thrilled reviewers loved the clear crisp screen, style, and comfort.
